Keep your eye on the pies:

I didn't really get to practice my begging at my old home. Cute just wasn't the order of the day, in fact there were so many other animals that putting my head on a lap and looking adorable was a lost art.
Between Roxy and I it is very hard to tell who is the cutest.  I am more ruggedly  handsome,  I suppose  Roxy has the cute all sewn up. The trick like any pursuit in life is persistence, patience, keeping your mind on the goal.
I find getting comfortable in a position you can maintain for long durations is a real boon to this endeavor. Important also is the adorable look of love, the side glance, or upward eye movement with just a hint of sadness.
In a perfect scenario, Bones will absentmindedly hand me bits of food as an after thought, while he is engorging himself. Sometimes I make my head weigh so much that he cannot ignore me.
Last night was pizza for dinner. I love pizza Roxy loves pizza and Bones loves pizza. He was sitting at his computer solving the worlds problems ( so he tells me ) while chowing down on garlic chicken pizza pie. Roxy's head  was on his right knee, my head  was on his left knee. The combination of cute and handsome, with just a bit of forlornness mixed in, must have been almost impossible to ignore. Ignore it he did, so we made our heads weigh about 40 pounds. He relented and handed us the occasional piece of  gooy yumminess , first me, than Roxy, so on and so forth.
We never took our eye off the food until the plate was empty.
Set your goal, keep your eye on the prize, persevere, don’t take no for an answer and things will work out.
Next time: how many barks are inside a dog?
