Cat tree

I always wondered where cats come from. They move so fast I have never been able to have a conversation with one. They speak in a different fashion and make weird irritating noises. They sleep too much, and the biggest problem is they get to run rampant.

I have never seen a cat on a leash. I always hear people yelling at Bones "put your dogs on a leash". I have never heard any one yell" put your cats on a leash".

Tonight Bones went to hear some music with Murphy's mom ( she looked pretty). I stayed at Megan and Jesses house for a couple hours. First Murphs Mom took some pictures of all of us on the beach. Roxy and I did not cooperate. Later at Megan's I saw my first cat tree, I don't understand how it works but here is proof where they come from.

I stared at them for a long time not only did it not bug them but they kind of freaked me out when they leave the tree. Cats are way tougher than they look.
I went to a friend of Bones one morning and his cat was on the porch, Roxy and I ran up to it figuring we would chase it for a while, the cat did not move. It smacked both of us in the nose and before we knew it we were the ones being chased. Tonight we got home and Flash, the red cat that visits every once in a while was in the driveway. Bones likes it when he visits and gave him a pet or two before I came out and tried to chase him, really I just wanted to know if he came from the same tree as Megan's cats live in.

Have a wonderful everything. Hugs from the hill Cash Fargo Bellinger

Little things make it all worthwhile: Cleanliness is next to:

I love smooching with Roxy, nose rubs, and wrestling. I love getting my head scratched, I even like being hugged once in a while.
I have a new thing I like: I took a hose bath.
Bones is pretty sure no one took the time to bath me at my old home.
I guess he felt I was finally ready to have the force of the water on my face.
Lilies mom hosed me off while Bones soaped me up and scrubbed me clean. It felt great, even the water shooting at my head. I had a blast shaking the water on Bones and  rubbing my wet body all over him. The bonus was getting rid of the fleas and cleaning my amazing fur at the same time. I am even handsomer sparkling clean.

We went to the Douglas preserve today, we met a big white dog, his owner said he liked to be chased, so I chased him. Turns out he likes to be chased but not caught. I caught him. I am fast strong and agile, I would be a good surfer.

I was a little angry in my last post and I want to apologize.  It does no good to be angry Sometimes Bones gets angry he says bad words and yells. Roxy and I know he is not angry at us so we try to make him feel better.
Try to make people smile and leave them laughing:

The paws that refreshes:

I ate water mellon today it is weird, it is crunchy for a moment then  it turns into water. I liked it, I sat by Bones and helped him eat a whole bunch of it. On a very hot day watermelon cools you down.

It

has been a rough week Bones is not up to par so I have been taking care of him. I have become a very good watch dog, a couple of barks and a threatening glance seem to do the trick for most people. I take my place by his feet when we are at the restaurant and I make sure no one gets near his car. I know about pain, I know a lot about pain. I have been in pain, now I am strong ,very strong.

My friend Brodie went on vacation, he sent me this picture

Roxy and I went to the swimming hole again Jesse took a video, I will share it next time

2 days ago we were at the garden  market  Roxy and I tied to the table, 20 pound table 90 pounds of combined cattle dog. Hmm Bones is brilliant ,lady walks by with a poodle within 2 feet, she could have easily gone around. I lunge Roxy follows suit  and horrible screaming in-sues not from the dog, from the women,we never made contact  She goes in to the restaurant and tells Sherrie that we almost ripped the stomach out of her dog.

We are now banned from the restaurant as a couple. I can go alone but I can not take my girl friend. It may have something to do with us pulling the table over and breaking all the dishes a couple of days ago. We are not bad but together we can cause some problems.

Later we were down on the beach and everything was cool.

I A lot of dogs walk by on their walk to loons and back, no problem.

I usually take off with what ever crew is passing, Labs, Poodles, mongrels, and the owners get it. As a matter of fact most of the time I cruise so far up the beach that people have to stop so Bones can retrieve me. Great crowd for the first 2 hours. The latest couple were 2 girls, hand in hand, kissing, 3 dogs great vibes, they were very happy. Rox and I going crazy they say totally cool.

Next up a red head women with a big black lab. I look up for a moment the dog is having a blast and really wants to play. I am stoked I run up to play with the big guy  she starts  hitting me with the dog toy and kicking me.  She tells Bones  she is there to play with her dog and other dogs can not play with him.  It is a dog beach and your dog wants to play, NO he does not it is a control issue. I am now  on the leash, her dog walks up to me and kisses me on the nose as much as if to say hey your cool lets party.
She kicks at me again and Bones says yes this is a control issue a control freak issue.  The poor dog just wanted to play with me. I mean you humans are fun and all but given our choice we would much rather run full blast with each other we don't even need toys at the beach. We can make our own fun.

Roxy is my Queen: when she is not here I lie down in the places she usually sleeps, the side of the bed, the front of the couch, it smells like her in these spots.  I hate fleas and want to get rid of all of them. I know a women from the beach I would like to put them on but that would be mean.

I love this life: Be kind to your family and let them think for themselfs, humans and animals.

You only herd the ones you love:

Swimming beats you up, Roxy and I slept in this morning totally conked out
9 am and still snoring. We didn't even wake up Bones for our 5 am breakfast ,pretty sure he was alright with that.

Today there were 4 cattle dogs on the beach. I was head herder ( say that 15 times in a row) Roxy was herding me while I was  herding the other 2 along with a red setter that kept stealing our tennis ball and swimming out in the water with it.
Just days ago I would have been stuck on the beach watching her swim and waiting until she hit the shore to nip her heels and show her who is boss.

Since my incredible long distance deep water swim yesterday I am a new dog.
I jumped in the water swam through a couple of waves and almost made it out to big red. I have to say the ocean is much different than a lake, the current is scary and the waves are exciting.
I am so much better in the water now, I actually bodysurfed a wave, what a rush. Roxy watched in amazement ,Bones laughed his head off ( we found it later).
I am now almost ready to challenge Lilly to a surf contest. There were 2 giant dogs up the beach, I would run up bite them and yell to show my dominance and run back, herd the 2 blues and chase miss red. I am the man.

They were all females, pretty good day in the sun 5 bitches and Cash. Jesse walked Rox and I to sharks and back. Then a couple hours of herding and chasing, wanna feel my muscles?

Water water everywhere:

Humans have about the same percentage of water in their body as the earth has on hers. That is why it makes so much sense not to pollute the oceans or destroy the rivers or foul the waterways of the world.

I am Anaconda watch me swim;
Today I went to Red Rock with Megan and Jesse, Bones stayed behind.
This is what he missed. It took them a while and much prodding, but eventually Roxy and I got in the water and began to swim. As far as anyone knows I have never been allowed this activity before, I loved it. Megan said I swam laps for hours, back and forth ,and back and forth. I am much more coordinated than Roxy, and I have a better stroke in the water. This has to happen again because it was so much fun.

I hope Bones can come next time and we will take some pictures because Megs and Jess were still laughing when they got back. Being healthy and strong is such an incredible feeling. I think life is the best it has ever been for me. I have a hot girlfriend, an extended loving family, Megan, Jesse, Daniel, Marsha, Susan, Juliana, and of course Bones. Todd and Sherrie love me also and when I go visit Lilly I get treats.

I have one problem, since I never lived inside I haven't figured out that lifting your leg is an out door activity  exclusively.
. I haven't ever done it in Bone's house (as far as he knows) but I have in Toddies and Megans.

I am starting to realize it is a punishable offense. Bones is afraid to punish me because I am just starting to live my life and no one took the time to show me the ropes before. Jesse however has threatened to "toss" me if I do it again, I will figure it out. Speaking of, we were at the beach yesterday talking to a girl with a blind dog.
He was 12 years old and one of the lucky ones. He would be gone if not for his special human. Turns out she had to have 2 new lungs put in and was very close to death, her dog a big old happy mix of pooches was her constant companion during her travails, so she kept him alive and treats him very special.
Since he is blind I bet he can smell really well my smell is 4000 times a humans not my scent( although it is mighty aromatic) my sense of smell, his must be 10000 times as strong.

While we were talking, I casually lifted my leg on her male companion, as my water dripped down his shoulder he started laughing. Lucky for bones he had a sense of humor. Since I had ruined his shirt Jesse gave him one of his, they are made with a logo that Jesse and bones designed.

I know now why Bones misses going in the water, it feels like home.  I look forward to swimming again soon.

This our planet to care for and nurture ,we are the custodians not the owners, if we destroy the water we destroy the planet. Love mother earth, love mother ocean, and love each other.

Let sleeping dogs fly:

I can fly in my sleep.
I am very busy chasing cats, squirrels, roxy ,birds and other things. As you can see by my picture I am almost levitating.
My deep rem ramblings are not to be disturbed. Both Roxy and I have a tendency to bite what ever is nearest if we are startled awake. Bones found that out the other night,I was asleep on the couch in "his spot" when he pulled my leg to move me, I jolted awake and bit him on the hand, he tumbled backwards stepped on Roxy, she yelped and bit him on the foot as she awoke.

Last night the red cat Roxy and I chased away came back, Bones gave her some tuna and petted her for a long time. I found this out later.
I am not really jealous, in fact I could use a cat around here to get rid of those pesky mice. I can not seem to catch them and believe me I have tried.
Check her out she is kinda cool looking, we call her flash because she is red and she is fast.

Bones has been meeting up with Jesse and Megan the last few days. They take us for a walk while he waits in the park or in his car. I think it has something to do with him not sleeping and once again keeping us awake with his whimpering.
I am not mad at him as long as he feeds me and lets me sleep when I want to everything is ok.
Someone ask him today what would happen if my disease came back. He said he tries to never think about that, he prefers to live in the moment.

Funny huh? Dogs supposedly live in the moment by nature, humans pay a lot of money to people to try and learn to live in the moment. Why not just ask your dog how it is done?

Live every moment as if it is your last.
When you dream try to fly like I do:

Peanut butter

I

I love peanut butter, Bones calls it the shut up food.
If Roxy and I are making a fuss at the restaurant bones sticks some peanut butter in our mouths and we have to work on eating it for a long time, It makes it impossible to bark, nip or do much of anything until you get the stuff off the roof of your mouth.
I wonder it works with humans? I see humans yelling and fighting and saying not so nice things. I would like to put peanut butter in their mouthes  until they calm down. Sometimes when we are driving Bones is yelling and gesturing madly at the other drivers, he should always have peanut butter around to stick in his mouth to shut him up.
Someone accused Bones of anthropomorphizing, he said I am smarter then half the humans he knows. I don't get it but I do know I have a long nose and it doesn't hurt anymore, In fact I am feeling pretty feisty.
Roxy was gone for a day we slept in. I was unusually quiet. When she is not around I am allowed to roam freely at the eating place ,I see bikes and skate boards but I do not chase them or go crazy barking. When Roxy is here we both go crazy barking at said items. I am not sure if we bring out the worst  or the best in each other, or if it is just more fun to  terrorize when we are together.
Rox spent the night last night we got up early and wrestled for hours. We grapple like humans, I have a really good hold I use on her and she has some secret moves, she bites my hind legs  while I am countering that maneuver she takes out my front legs with a paw sweep.
Bones was moaning and whining all night so he did not want to get up, we fought on until he had no choice. I am getting a little worried his knee is swollen and he puts ice on it instead of in his drinks. He better hurry up and get moving because I need a lot of activity now that I am feeling so much better.
How many barks inside a dog? As far as I can tell Roxy has an unending supply. Bones is a singer (he calls it singing) and when his voice gets tired he says he is losing it. Where could you lose your voice? I always know where my bark is it's  inside my body. Once he said he was a little horse but he looked just the same.
Sometimes he takes us way up the beach or to a park  to let us bark until all the barks are gone. Oh yea we went to a new park with Jesse, there were lots of dogs and the park was very big. I also went with Jesse and Roxy on a bike ride ,Jesse rode the bike and Roxy and I ran alongside. That was really fun. It is always good to do things with your girlfriend that you both have fun at.
'
Here is big woof woof to Doctor Thompson. I am still getting better, stronger and harder to handle. I hope it stays that way.

Always keep some peanut butter with you.
When you feel like saying some thing mean or having a fight, especially with someone you really care about, put some in your mouth. While you eat it remember being mean doesn't do any one any good.
Treat people nice and they will be nice back.

Keep your eye on the pies:

I didn't really get to practice my begging at my old home. Cute just wasn't the order of the day, in fact there were so many other animals that putting my head on a lap and looking adorable was a lost art.
Between Roxy and I it is very hard to tell who is the cutest.  I am more ruggedly  handsome,  I suppose  Roxy has the cute all sewn up. The trick like any pursuit in life is persistence, patience, keeping your mind on the goal.
I find getting comfortable in a position you can maintain for long durations is a real boon to this endeavor. Important also is the adorable look of love, the side glance, or upward eye movement with just a hint of sadness.
In a perfect scenario, Bones will absentmindedly hand me bits of food as an after thought, while he is engorging himself. Sometimes I make my head weigh so much that he cannot ignore me.
Last night was pizza for dinner. I love pizza Roxy loves pizza and Bones loves pizza. He was sitting at his computer solving the worlds problems ( so he tells me ) while chowing down on garlic chicken pizza pie. Roxy's head  was on his right knee, my head  was on his left knee. The combination of cute and handsome, with just a bit of forlornness mixed in, must have been almost impossible to ignore. Ignore it he did, so we made our heads weigh about 40 pounds. He relented and handed us the occasional piece of  gooy yumminess , first me, than Roxy, so on and so forth.
We never took our eye off the food until the plate was empty.
Set your goal, keep your eye on the prize, persevere, don’t take no for an answer and things will work out.
Next time: how many barks are inside a dog?

Sometimes you lead sometimes you follow:

Roxy was gone for 2 days, they were quiet days. I was invisible, well not really but
I was on cruise control. Last night Roxy came again and I revved it up a notch, barking at bikes, trikes, and tykes.
Bones went to an eating place and we barked so loud in the car he had to re-park it 2 blocks away. We love that.
I have a new trick,I like to run head first into the bushes and dive through them until I disappear. I told you I am invisible, Bones has a friend who used to be able to turn invisible ( he thought he was).
Sometimes Roxy leads the charge sometimes I lead the charge. I like to wag my tail,I guess it is more of a nub but when I see her it starts to wag, it never did before.

We saw some pink skins this weekend, most of them with many children. The children were running free in the street. We witnessed many near accidents by the kids running in front of the cars. I expect this poor judgement in dogs, we 4 leggers are unaware of the comings and goings of the human transports. I have heard tell of dogs in Topanga canyon that know how to wait for the green lights to walk and stop for the red light. This beggars the question of dogs and color blindness. I am sure the dogs don't smell the stop and go sign.
I digress : People watch your children, they are the future of our planet they are in your care, put them on a leash if it is to much trouble to keep an eye on them. If your kid is running in front of cars and you don't notice it, guess what you are blowing it. Again it all comes down to love, the most precious thing on earth is also the most vulnerable. Kids only know what you tell them, Please tell them to watch out because the chances that someone flying down the road is going to see them dart out in front the car is slim.
Remember parents you are the leader they are the follower.
Be responsible leaders ,watch your kids ,watch your pets, love and cherish them.
This world can be a beautiful place if we treat each other with respect.

Just because I can hear you doesn't mean I have to listen

Cash Cash Cash. Jeez I can hear you bones I am just not gonna listen. I told you all how some days Roxy is the brat and some days I am, well yesterday was my day. The beach was filled with tourist dogs and people that thought they owned the ocean and sand. I have already figured out on week days no one else is around and Bones and I reign supreme.  Weekends hundreds of people show up, many of such a pink skinned hue that they hide under umbrellas so the sun never touches them. They bring an assortment of dogs most of which have never been off a leash,  never been allowed to run fill blast down the sand,
or both of the aforementioned. These dogs are pent up and scared of their own shadows. You know what? It is not their fault it is their humans error.

Most dogs given the chance would rather run and play together. Fighting is something humans seem to have more of a tendency towards. I was running way up the beach and finding dogs I could tell had not had the freedom. I  just want to chest bump heel nip bark for no reason and generally play like animals.

It seems many of the humans misinterpret my 100-mile an hour approach as a sign of aggression. If I am planning to aggress you pink skins will know it. More then one owner actually gripped their dog and lifted them in the air shrieking oh my god at the top of their lungs. Heres a tip, if I was really planning on doing damage and not just playing, holding your dog up like a meal isn't going to stop me. in-fact you have made the poor guy helpless, he can't fight back for fear of biting the hand that feeds him and I would really have the upper hand. So bones was busy yelling at me and I was busy ignoring him. He knows my hearing is back and it did peeve him. He put me on the leash but I would just wait till he was asleep and drag him halfway down the beach. I am really getting strong.

Bones has been reconnecting with his old friends. He told me if you survive this long it is time to forget whatever transgressions occurred in the past and let the other survivors know you love them.

It comes down to listening to the heartbeat of life. Remember say good things and do good things and life is better all the way around. He does have a couple of friends that would not listen and lashed out about things
seemingly unimportant. Watch what you say because you may break something that can never be repaired.

Like a heart

Listen to each other you will be amazed .

I had my picture taken today by Murphy the cats human, check it out I am one handsome dog,

Tell the truth, say nice things. I love you world it just keeps getting better: Cash Fargo Bellinger
