My girlfriend came to visit the other night and it was quite glorious.
Which girlfriend you might ask? True I am a dog of many bitches and yes I have played the field from time to time but Roxy is my special gal my soul mate if you will.
She came over with Meg and Jess, we heard her chirping from a half mile away and I was very excited to see her. It's Been a bit since we were watching her daily and the first time she has seen my new world.
We danced and kissed and sniffed when she got here then we took off for a short tour of the terrain.
Meg left after a bit and Jess stayed on to "help" bones hook up his receiver in the little room. I use the word help laughingly because really Jess does all the work while bones yells at him and makes ridiculous suggestions.
Butter cup has observed that Bones tries to control Jess and tell him what to do.
It's very similar to Bones trying to control me and tell me what to do.
Really the result is neither of us listen anyway but hey Bones need to think he is in charge so we let him blather on.
Woo and I came back from our cruise and got comfy in the little room, I was on my bed and she was laying on the little porch soaking up the local smells.
At one point Boss came out for a visit and Woo was going to attack him, I interceded by blocking her and giving her a slight nip on the head. She does not know Boss yet and she was in a totally new place so really it was just instinct on her part, I did the intros to let her know Boss is one of us.
Woo as we all know is a ball junkie and she found every disgusting tennis ball on the land. By the time she left there was a ball in the room and the RV and by the cars. I am sure these are all part of Reds elaborate stash of balls scattered up and down the road.
Speaking of Red he and I have had a strained relationship since our altercation. Really I have figured out he is not to be trifled with so I give him a wider berth than I used to.
Jess got the job done and we all settled in to watch an episode of a show Jess and Bones like.
Bones loved it, spending time with his kids is a highlight of life for him.
I should mention Boss has known Jess all his life, from the time he was a whelp to now.
Roxy liked the fact I have no fences to hold me in and the pure freedom this spot affords me.
When they left we gave each other lots of smooches and nipped and snarled goodby.
She did her usual high pitched barks goodby as they drove off and I responded with my shrieking howl that I save just for her.
I love her and she loves me.
It's the season to let the beings most important to you know that you love them.
Do not be afraid to share your emotions laugh cry and love with all your heart.
From the mountain to the Valley to the beach to the hill, hugs from:
